Class 3: Obedience Training (Silver)
The Club’s Class 3 is based around the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Silver
level in this class you (and your dog) will learn:
•
To ‘stay’ for 2 minutes, in a sit, a down and a stand.
•
Develop ‘recall’ skills and some distance control.
•
Aspects of the road walking and safety.
•
Aspects of Vehicle control.
•
Controlled Greeting and associated behaviour.
•
Learn how to condition a dog for judge’s or veterinary examination
This class is for graduates of Class 2 or the Bronze Class.
Dogs in this Class generally will not be younger than a year old, and should, at
this level be able to enjoy learning and developing their skills.
