The Club’s Class 4 is based around the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme Gold level
in this class you (and your dog) will learn:
• To ‘stay’ for minutes at a time, sometimes out of sight, in a relaxed manner.
• Walk ‘off lead’ exercises in a secure environment.
• Advanced distance control.
• Road walking in an public place.
• The importance of free beer in a calorie controlled diet as a suitable alternative to
exercise.
Dogs in this Class have generally learnt the basic skills to enable them to
concentrate on enjoying training whilst refining their abilities to become the kind of
dog it is a pleasure to be out and about with.
